The Book of Mark
Chapter 3 (NIV)

10For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him. 11Whenever the evil[a] spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, "You are the Son of God." 12But he gave them strict orders not to tell who he was.

I know I've questioned before why the demons didn't just lie and say "Hello, Satan, Lord and Master." I'm sure that would have creeped people out and thinned the crowds real fast.

But now, I wonder if the presence of Jesus is just so overwhelming that one cannot help but fall to one's knees and cry out "You are the Son of God."

Human beings are spiritually blinded, so they couldn't really see the full majesty of Jesus. I imagine that when we all finally see Jesus on judgment day, his presence will be so undeniably awesome that our reactions will be much the same - to fall down cry out "You are the Son of God."

I like your response Suejin. I agree that demons simply can not lie about Son of God. They are fully aware of him and his power that they dare not to speak any lies of him.

I'm not sure why they don't ask to be on his side hahah. I mean fully knowing who he is why not ask for his forgiveness and turn to good?
