Genesis 2:4-7 (NIV)
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

It's important to remind ourselves of our origin. We are living beings, formed from the dust of the ground, while the breath of life was breathed into our nostrils. At times, we forget this reality and think ourselves of great living beings, totally independent from God. But we should truly acknowledge our creator and Lord in our lives.
The key difference between men and other creation is that God breathed into our nostrils the breath of life. We are not just a being but a living being meaning one with spirit. This "breath" is what I think to be the spirit which gives us the ability to seek, praise, and worship God.
Again no other creation was made in the image and likeness of God.
