Genesis 7:6-10 (NIV)
6 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. 8 Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, 9 male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah. 10 And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.

It's quite astonishing to see how Noah can believe and act according to God's command with "blind faith." It probably took him many many years to build this ark, and people must have told him that he is crazy etc. Despite all the possible gossips and peer pressure, Noah persistently works and eventually builds the ark. Finally now, he can reap the fruits of his hard work, by entering the ark with his family and survive, while the other mockerers will die in the flood...Overall, I think we Christians are also in a similar position as Noah. Though the world denies Christ and tempts us to go the easier way, we should also remain firm and faithful like Noah until His return.
To add to EBSguy, what noble faith Noah's family have also! Especially his wife! She could've easily said her husband is a lunatic and left him with their children. But they all stick by him and help him. Noah's family is a solid role model for every Christian family. I pray that I'll have such supported family who will stick with me even if the entire world may have turned its back from me.
