Genesis 9:6-11 (NIV)
6 "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man. 7 As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it." 8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

It's obvious that God regrets of having killed many people with the flood, and He he no longer wants to see the shedding of blood by any means. At the same time, He establishes a covenant (agreement) with Noah...THis truly shows how much God really loves the world and all His creations. I think He really wants us to live a good life on this that satisfies and pleases both Him and us.
"Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man."
Very interesting. So if someone sheds the blood of man, that man's blood will be shed by another man. The second part of the verse reminds us that we are created in the image of God so harming one another pretty much is not honoring God.
Next time I get in to difficult relationship with another person, I should think of this verse and try to apply it. For we are all created in the image of God and God loves all of us. No matter how harsh someone treats me, I should do my best not to blow up with anger but let His love guide me.
