Genesis 18:13-15 (NIV)
13 Then the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Will I really have a child, now that I am old?' 14 Is anything too hard for the LORD ? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son." 15 Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, "I did not laugh." But he said, "Yes, you did laugh."

I think it takes courage and honesty to truly confess our mistakes and sins to the Lord. But it is very important to really empty our hearts and feelings toward Him with honesty and sincerity so that He can work with and within us. We can also see that the Lord knows peoples' most intimate thoughts and every action. There is truly nothing we can hide from Him. It must be humiliating for Sarah after the Lord points out that she has laughed.
Ouch! How foolish in trying to lie in front of God. Though we are not much different in trying to hide things from God or thinking it is too small for us to reveal to God. Fear seem to be a direct result of sin and being afraid of God.
I pray that I'll keep my honesty towards God even when I sin, since He knows everything about me.
Hmm... why does the Lord points out to Abraham about Sarah?
